Japanese Joshi legend, Manami Toyota, will be wrestling in the US for the first time in her career. The promotion she chose was CHIKARA which is really interesting choice.
She will be wrestling against Daizee Haze on Sep 18 (Sat) in Baltimore. On the second day, Sep 19 (Sun) in Brooklyn, New York, she will be teaming up with Mike Quackenbush and facing Sara Del Ray & Claudio Castagnoli.

Toyota is considered to be one of the best Joshi wrestlers of all time. She is not only powerful but very elegant and she has all the essence to be Joshi wrestler (which is very peculiar to Japanese Joshi style and totally different from US women’s pro-wrestling). I am sure she will impress American fans a lot. If you live in Baltimore/NYC area, you can’t miss this opportunity.
